What does my trip cost cover?
The cost of our summer trips covers food, lodging, group gear, staff salaries and annual first aid training, insurance, safety equipment, and ground transportation. Flights to Montana or Big Island are not covered in our trip cost or scholarship funds.
Are there scholarships available?
Yes! We host a student-led fundraiser every Spring to raise money for scholarships. In the past 10 years, we have been able to help cover or subsidize all costs for families in need. Students can apply for scholarships on their trip applications. Our team reviews the scholarship needs with our scholarship funds and award scholarships to students in the acceptance letters.
When are payments due?
Payment schedules are listed above for three different options: Full Upfront, Half and Half, and Month to Month.
How do I pay?
Payment options include check, or a Quickbooks invoice (bank transfer or credit card payment). If you choose a Quickbooks invoice, our team will send you an invoice the week before the payment due date. If you choose to pay by check, checks should be made payable to Wild Communities Foundation and mail to:

Please note: there is a 3% processing fee added to credit card payments and a 1% processing fee added to bank transfers.
What is the Wild Kids Summer Trip Cancellation Policy?
We are a small business and simply cannot absorb the full cost of late trip cancellations. As such, we ask that our community respect our cancellation policy:
Full refunds will be issued for cancellations made before February 15th.
50% refunds will be issued for cancellations made between February 15th and April 15th.
No refunds issued for cancellations after April 15th. We will consider partial refunds for late cancellations if your child’s spot is filled.
